Blogs to Read

The bad news is this isn’t the best blog ever. The good news is that other people do it better. Check out the below blogs we like.

Every Square Inch / The Crossing

The Crossing’s blog; authors include the pastors as well as other staff members. Check it out for continuing conversations about the sermons, resources, as well as some thought-provoking posts.

Between Two Worlds / Justin Taylor

Justin Taylor, one of the editors of the ESV Study Bible, a contributor to several books, and a prominent name in the Reformed, evangelical blogging world, hosts a blog full of resources on a wide variety of subjects: theology, philosophy, politics, and culture.

Girl Talk

OK, I know what you’re thinking.  Girl Talk?  Really?  I know it sounds cheesy (it does), but this blog has lots of useful information.  It’s tagline is “conversations about biblical womanhood.”  Believe me, as girls, we have lots to learn about this topic.  The authors are C.J. Mahaney’s (leader of Sovereign Grace Ministries) wife and daughters.

C.J. Mahaney’s View from the Cheap Seats

A favorite pastor to listen to on podcasts, Mahaney’s blog is awesome.  He’s the author of Humility: True Greatness, The Christ-Centered Life, and Sex, Romance, and the Sovereignty of God.  Check out the archives on the left side of his blog for topics like Sports (yep, he blogs about sports), Busyness, Leadership, and Reading.

City Campus Blog

This is Redeemer’s (Tim Keller’s church in New York City) college ministry blog, City Campus.  They’re basically trying to do what we do but they do it much better.  Check it out for blog posts like “What’s the difference between chimps and humans?” and “Everyone has faith.  Even if you don’t.”
